Dee's Too

Dee's Too, owned and operated by Sally Mara, opened in September of 1982 in the Sunset Plaza shopping center. Just four doors down from Dee's Flowers, owned by Sally's parents Andy and Aldea Sabo, it allowed the flower shop to offer the first gourmet gift baskets in Pueblo. Sally and Aldea had an affinity for kitchen shops so we included kitchen gadgets of all sorts and eventually expanded into a full fledged kitchen and gift shop. (We are no longer affiliated with the flower shop since it sold in March of 2003.)

We were the first to offer whole bean gourmet coffee in Pueblo. We had four different unflavored coffees and an antique hand cranked coffee grinder which added to the country charm of our store. The first day we ground two quarter pounds of coffee. It was such fun turning the big fly wheel of the old red grinder. The next day we ground three pounds and by the third day people who had been driving to Springs and Denver to buy coffee started coming in and we knew it was time to retire the old grinder (which had lost much of it's charm by now!)! We now stock over fifty varieties of gourmet coffees; both flavored and unflavored in regular and decaf.

We also carry a wide variety of bulk teas as well as an outstanding assortment of packaged teas from Republic of Tea, Davidson's, and Brownlow.

In May of 1999, completely out of space, we moved next door into 1800 sq. feet., double our previous size, and added an espresso bar. Now customers can "sip while they shop" or relax at one of the tables outside. It's proven to be very popular and a natural addition to our coffee selection. Along with lattés and cappuccinos we offer chai, Italian sodas, Mexican cocoa, and our two very popular blended drinks, the Caramel Mocha Frosty and Heath Mocha. You may also enjoy a muffin, sweet bread, biscotti or cookie. Our customers tell us we make the best drinks in town!

We still offer a large array of beautiful gift baskets brimming with gourmet foods, coffees, teas and candy as well as Camille Beckman bath baskets. We deliver city wide and to many parts of Pueblo County. We also ship anywhere in the United States.

Our gift lines include collectibles from Precious Moments, Boyd's Bears, Charming Tails, Dreamsicles, Kitchen Fairies, and Pretty As A Picture. We carry a wonderful selection of gifts for any occasion and always offer complimentary gift wrapping.

Italian Charm Bracelets are such a hit and we have thousands of charms including Disney, the NFL teams, Looney Tunes, Betty Boop, Cat In The Hat, as well as enamels, birthstones and lasers to commemorate just about anything! We order custom lasers weekly and have all the local high schools and CSU-Pueblo.
